Dear members:
I'm organizing a seminar for members who are interested. My focus for the seminar will be on war responsibility.
The format of the class will be like a 400-level seminar history/political science class. I'll be distributing academic journals online (I'll try to keep it under 20 pages) for everyone to read, and we'll discuss the issues raised in the article.
Although I don't want to be discriminatory, , thus I prefer the participants to have some background knowledge of the topic(s) being discussed, as I want to maintain the discussion at a certain level. However, this isn't limited to Art students.
To all of AWWA members who're interested, please send me an email at
tsang6482@gmail.com, where I'll create a mailing list to send the reading material, and the time and place for the seminar. I'll go ahead with the seminar once there's sufficient interest (about 5 people excluding me) for the seminar.
From the feedback at the 2 Dec meeting, it looks like many who are interested would like the seminar to be held between 21-23 Dec. We can tentatively set the date at 22 Dec (but can be changed).
I've also picked out the first article for the proposed seminar, as the topic raised in this article will somewhat go into why AWWA exists.
For those who can't wait, the article is..
